Letter to the Reader
Dear Reader,
This site is intended to make available screenplays for your reading pleasure that have not been produced. Also, that we may be producing ourselves. “Death Rides a Pale Horse’ is in preproduction now.
Screenplays posted here will only be available here and will have gone through numerous edits. The writer, or writers, are open to feedback. We aim to entertain you, but we want your criticisms and praises as well.
We all like to criticize a good movie, right?
The first 10 pages are free, this gives you a chance to decide if it’s something you would like to invest your time and money into. Just like a movie producer, they weigh the first 10.
And if you want to read further, the script is broken up into 3 acts for purchase.
POSSIBLE FUTURE PLANS
Hopefully, we will take submissions within the next year or two. When, or if, we decide to, we will need to look into creating contracts. The idea is to have this operate similar to a stock photo agency.
Instead of a low 15 to 40 percent profit split with the creator, it would be a 50/50 split after payment fees charged by payment processing and any website fees. Those we are covering fine now, but should it grow and become more elaborate that may play a factor.
Anyway, its all big talk. But it’s an idea and I want to be open with that. That is why I am writing it here. If you have an old excellent screenplay growing dust and is a great read, send us an early query letter.
We may not get back to you right away, but if there is enough interest out there, it will give us an idea of what we would be working with if Eskripts.com moves forward with the idea.
